Add a new lead

The New lead form captures just enough to reply to an enquiry, so you can track it through the pipeline until it converts.

  1. 1

    Open the form

In Leads › Pipeline, select Lead at the top right. Import CSV and Share enquiry form sit beside it.

  2. 2

    Enter the basics

Enter a Name and, optionally, a Service interest such as study permit. Add an Email or Phone. Either one is enough.

  3. 3

    Set contact and source

Choose Preferred contact (Email or Phone) and Source (Phone, Email, Referral, Event, Walk-in or Other). Add Country now and Language if known.

  4. 4

    Assign and price

Confirm the Owner. Optionally enter your firm's Proposed fee (CAD) and a First note.

  5. 5

    Record consent and save

Tick They agreed we may use these details to reply. Tick They asked for our news only if they said yes. Then select Add lead, or Cancel to back out.

  1. 02Header tools

The Lead button at the top right, beside Import CSV, opens this New lead form over the board.

  2. 03Board stages

The subtitle sets the tone: Only what you need to reply. Passports and detailed histories wait until intake.

  3. 04Form purpose

Type a name, then an optional Service interest, for example study permit.

  4. 05Contact details

Email and Phone each carry the hint Email or phone, so you can fill in either.

  5. 06Contact, source

Preferred contact defaults to Email, and Source to Phone. Change either to match how they reached you.

  6. 07Owner and fee

Country now and Language are both optional.

  7. 08Note, consent

Owner is set to Demo Owner, a fictional demo user. Proposed fee in CAD is optional, and it is the firm's own fee.

  8. 09Finish

Add a first note, then tick They agreed we may use these details to reply. Marketing consent is separate, so tick the news box only if they said yes.

  9. 10Recap

To recap: open the form with Lead, add a name, give an email or phone, set the source and owner, and record consent. Next: Consultations.
